Read the text below to get the general idea:
 
According to physicians, stress is a perfectly normal condition in our lives and a natural reaction to challenging or difficult every day situations. It can have either positive or negative effects on our lives, but a long-term- exposure to high-stress-level-states, can be hazardous to health or might lead to a serious depression. The root causes of stress are mostly attributed to work and family related areas of human life. Scientists believe that, since stress has become an unavoidable part of our existence, everybody needs to learn how to deal with it. Therefore, to improve our daily functioning, we had better take a deep interest in stress management techniques.
Stress management is perceived as a key to a happy and successful life in a modern society. It gives you a range of tools to control stress and maintain overall well-being. From handy, self-help tips on the Internet, to professional group or individual therapies provided by practitioners, everyone in need can find something suitable for themselves. To begin with, it is advisable to start with a few basic pieces of advice:
1.    identify the stress sources and eliminate them,
2.    change your attitude into more positive,
3.    avoid people who stress you out,
4.    eat healthy diet, rich in fruits and vegetables,
5.    take to exercising on a regular basis,
6.    learn relaxation techniques,
7.    socialize with people,
8.    pursuit personal hobbies or interests,
9.    sleep well, and finally …
10.    keep a proper work-life balance :).
Either just a single activity from the above mentioned list, or a combination of a few of them, can certainly make a significant difference in your life. Just try, and you will soon see the results.
